Damian Green Sacked in Porn Scandal Shocker!
Theresa May has dumped her top deputy, Damian Green, after an investigation slammed him for breaching the ministerial code. Green was caught out for making “inaccurate and misleading” claims about knowing porn was found on a Commons computer back in 2008.
Green’s Downfall: Lies and Allegations
Once the PM’s right-hand man as First Secretary of State, Green was rocked by serious allegations. He denied making unwanted advances towards journalist Kate Maltby in 2015. He also claimed ignorance when porn was discovered on a computer in his office.
Report Nails Green’s Story as False
The Cabinet Office’s official report tore apart Green’s version of events. It exposed that his denials about the porn were misleading and failed the strict ministerial code. The probe also found conflicting accounts of private meetings with Maltby but declared her version “plausible.”
“I apologise for my actions,” Green wrote in his resignation letter.
Theresa May responded with “deep regret” at losing her deputy.
The scandal marks a stunning fall from grace for one of May’s closest allies, shaking confidence in the cabinet.
