Delta Flight 4819 was on approach from Minneapolis when it skidded and overturned on the runway amid fierce 40 mph crosswinds. A small fire broke out but was quickly doused by emergency crews, preventing further disaster.

Authorities have yet to confirm the official cause of the crash, but experts suspect the bone-chilling, slippery conditions and strong crosswinds played a major role.

Miraculously, all passengers and crew escaped the flipped plane. Survivors stunned social media with videos capturing the chaos inside the overturned aircraft and on the frosty tarmac.

“I was just in a plane crash. Oh my god,” said passenger Ashley Zook on Snapchat.

“We just landed. Our plane crashed – it’s upside down. Most people are going to be okay,” posted John Nelson on Facebook after exiting safely.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford expressed relief there were no fatalities and pledged full provincial support.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is leading the crash investigation, backed by the US Federal Aviation Administration.

This crash marks the fourth major North American aviation incident within a month, highlighting ongoing safety concerns.
