Police have released an image of a woman they want to identify following an assault in which a victim was allegedly bitten at a shopping centre in Birmingham. West Midlands Police are appealing for the public’s help following an incident at The Swan Centre on Church Road, Yardley, at around 6pm on 19 March. Officers say a woman was assaulted and bitten during the incident. As part of the ongoing investigation, detectives have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to, believing she may have information that could assist their enquiries.
Appeal for information
Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman, or who has information about the incident, to come forward. Anyone who can help is asked to contact West Midlands Police by calling 101, quoting crime reference number 20/184779/26. Information can also be provided through the force’s online reporting channels. Enquiries into the assault remain ongoing.
