Teen Dead and Friend Critical After Motorbike Crash in Woodchurch

Tragic Collision on Saturday Night

Emergency services rushed to Woodchurch on the evening of Saturday, November 30, after a deadly crash involving two young men. A 17-year-old tragically died at the scene, while an 18-year-old is fighting for life in hospital.

What Happened?

At around 6:25pm, police were alerted to reports that two males had fallen from a vehicle, believed to be a motorbike, near the junction of Hoole Road and Grass Wood Road. Police confirmed no other vehicles were involved.

Casualties and Response

  • The 17-year-old victim was pronounced dead on site. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
  • The 18-year-old suffered serious injuries and remains in critical condition in hospital.

Police continue to probe the incident, which remains under early investigation. The motorbike was removed from the scene before officers arrived. A road closure is still in place, and locals are urged to avoid the area.
