East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service rushed to Eastbourne Pier at 12:41 PM today after a blaze broke out.

Firefighters quickly tackled the fire using a hose reel. The flames damaged decking and joists but were rapidly contained.

No Injuries as Crews Clean Up

By 1:22 PM, crews made sure no smouldering embers remained. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident.
