Van Blaze Sparks Drama at New Forest Campsite
Firefighters battled a van fire at a New Forest campsite this Sunday evening. They even had to ask nearby campers to “mooove” out of the way as they worked to make the scene safe.
Quick Response from Burley Fire Crew
At around 6pm on August 20, a lone crew from Burley Fire Station was called to the Holmsley Campsite. Two brave firefighters in breathing gear tackled the blaze with a hose reel, bringing it under control in just half an hour. They were back at the station by 6:30pm.
Cause of Fire Still Unknown
The origin of the fire remains a mystery. Authorities are investigating and have yet to confirm what sparked the flames.
