The Surrey fire service scrambled appliances just after 1am on Tuesday. When firefighters arrived, the area surrounding the dealership was thick with smoke, raising alarm bells.
False Alarm as Bonfire Mistaken for Fire
Crews conducted a thorough 360-degree survey and extensive searches to find the source. It turned out to be a false alarm.
The smoke was traced back to a bonfire at a nearby domestic property,” confirmed the fire service. No fire at the dealership itself.
Thankfully, no damage was caused and fire crews stood down shortly after.
