The high-profile event, organised by Kim Berry, wife of EAAA doctor Neil Berry from Ipswich Hospital, raised a whopping £62,000 through ticket sales, raffles, auctions and generous support. Kim warmly thanked all attendees and sponsors for their unwavering backing.
Saving Lives Across Suffolk and Beyond
- EAAA covers Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, delivering critical emergency care 24/7.
- The charity flies skilled doctors and paramedics by air or road to patients in life-threatening emergencies.
- Despite its vital work, EAAA relies entirely on donations and receives no regular government funding.
Samantha Stimpson, CEO of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “We are incredibly proud to support EAAA and the lifesaving work they do across the region.”
Cheers from East Anglian Air Ambulance Boss
