Drunken yobos trash WWI memorial garden in Manchester
Four young men from Manchester, after a night on the booze, decided it was a laugh to wreck a sacred WWI memorial garden. This tribute honours brave soldiers who gave their lives so these lads could enjoy their freedom – and yet, they smashed it up without a second thought.
War heroes disrespected by drunken vandals
These “gentlemen” – Lewis Hall, Lewis Hart, Elliot McBurnie, and Jordan Taylor – destroyed a memorial dedicated to men who were much younger than them when they died in battle. They never came home to their families. Yet these yobs treated their sacrifice with total contempt.
Community outraged at senseless damage
The memorial garden was meant to be a place of respect and remembrance. Instead, it became the scene of a senseless rampage by four louts drunk on freedom they barely appreciate.
Such callous behaviour has shocked locals and rightly sparked anger. No excuse for trampling on the memories of those who died for us.
