Blaze Breaks Out at Fulham Flat, Firefighters Race to Rescue

Five fire engines and 35 firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze at a flat on Wandsworth Bridge Road, Fulham. Flames damaged half of the flat on the fifth floor.

Residents Escape Unharmed

A woman and two others managed to leave the property before the fire brigade arrived. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Fire Under Control Before Noon

The brigade was called at 9:24am on Saturday. Firefighters from Fulham, Wandsworth, Chelsea, Battersea, Tooting, Clapham, and Kensington arrived swiftly. The fire was under control just before lunchtime.

Accidental Cause Suspected

Investigators believe the fire was caused accidentally, but the exact cause has yet to be confirmed.
