Man and Woman Rushed to Hospital After Serious Crash in Newham
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
A man and a woman were taken to hospital following a serious crash at the busy junction of Romford Road and Green Street in Newham this afternoon.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) received the call at 2:58 PM and quickly dispatched two ambulance crews. Both victims were treated on-site before being rushed to a local hospital as a priority.

Road Closures Cause Delays
Romford Road was temporarily closed while emergency teams managed the scene. The road has now reopened to traffic, but delays were reported during the closure.
The extent of the injuries to the man and woman remains unconfirmed. Metropolitan Police have been called in to investigate the crash, with questions over its cause and whether any arrests have been made.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Met Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
