Man Fighting for Life After Horrific Bus Crash in Winchester
A man is in a critical condition after a terrifying collision with a bus in Winchester city centre.
Harrowing Accident on Busy City Street
Just after 4.50pm on Monday, December 19, a 42-year-old pedestrian was struck by a bus turning onto St Georges Street from Silver Hill.
The man became trapped under the bus and suffered life-threatening injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at Southampton General Hospital.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
PC Jamie Foster appealed for information: “There were lots of passengers on the bus and many shoppers nearby at the time. Did you see what happened? We want to hear from anyone with information.”
