Woman Sexually Assaulted Near Reading Minster After Midnight
Just after midnight on Tuesday (17/11), a woman in her thirties was sexually assaulted next to the side entrance of Reading Minster, St Mary Virgin Church, opposite St Mary’s Butts.
Suspect Description: Short, Skinny, Spikey Beard
The offender is described as a white man in his forties, about 5ft tall with short dark brown hair and a spikey beard. He wore blue jeans, a black jacket, and a brown bobble hat. The victim thankfully sustained no physical injuries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Jon Morley from Reading police said: “This was a distressing incident during which a woman in her thirties was sexually assaulted. I would like to appeal for any witnesses to help with our investigation.”
