A huge fire ripped through a nursery in Catford, southeast London, near the Catford Audi dealership. The entire building was swallowed by flames, sparking a major emergency response.

London Fire Brigade Battles Blaze as Cause Remains Unknown

A London Fire Brigade spokesman confirmed eight engines and around 60 firefighters were swiftly deployed after emergency calls began flooding in at 6:37pm.

“Firefighters are tackling a fire at a three-storey nursery on Rushey Green where part of the roof is alight. The cause is currently unknown and under investigation,” the spokesman said.

Emergency crews continue to work hard at the junction of Rosenthal Road. So far, no injuries have been reported.

Authorities have urged locals to keep away from the scene as firefighters battle to bring the inferno under control.
