Fatal Crash in Sissinghurst: Police Hunt Witnesses

Tragedy struck on the A262 near Sissinghurst Castle on Wednesday afternoon. At around 4.45pm, a red Ford Fiesta and a blue Nissan Note smashed into each other in a deadly collision.

The driver of the Nissan, a 50-year-old local man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

Police Seek Crucial Witness Accounts

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but the victim could not be saved. Now cops want anyone who saw either car just before the crash to come forward.

They are especially keen to review dash cam footage from the area around the time of the collision.
