Suspicious package sparks panic
A suspicious package found in the security zone of Stansted Airport sparked a partial evacuation this afternoon, October 30. Passengers were hurriedly escorted to safety as Essex Police took control of the unfolding drama.

A police spokesman confirmed: “We’re currently at #StanstedAirport following concerns about a suspicious package in the security area. A cordon has been set up, and passengers have been evacuated from that part of the terminal.”
