Chaos at Wood Green Tube: Person hit by westbound train

Emergency teams rushed to Wood Green Underground Station this afternoon after a shocking incident saw a person struck by a westbound train. The drama unfolded around 2:30pm on Monday 9th June 2025, throwing the entire Piccadilly line into turmoil.

Massive Emergency Response on Site

Within minutes, at least three fire crews, paramedics, and British Transport Police flooded the scene. Fire rescue units and ambulance teams are working flat-out to reach the individual caught under the train on the westbound track. Officials say a full emergency protocol is in place.
