Brighton and Hove cops are on the trail of three hooded burglars after a string of break-ins and a botched raid in Woodingdean and Hove.
Attempted Break-In in Woodingdean Foiled
On 18 October at around 7pm, three men tried to smash their way into a Chalklands Rise home. All wore hoods or hats to hide their faces but were spotted and quickly scarpered.
- Suspect 1: navy hoodie, blue jeans, black trainers with white soles
- Suspect 2: dark jogging bottoms, blue coat, blue/black trainers with white soles
- Suspect 3: dark coat, black jeans, black shoes
Burglaries Follow the Foiled Attempt
- Same night, 18 Oct: Jewellery nabbed from a Warren Road home in Woodingdean. The trio seen fleeing the scene.
- 25 Oct: Cash stolen from a Crescent Drive North property, Woodingdean.
- 28 Oct: Man spotted lurking around a house in Meadway Crescent, Hove.
- 1 Nov, 7.50pm: Same three burglars broke into the Meadway Crescent home, stealing more jewellery.
All crimes point to the same dark Skoda Octavia used as the getaway car.
