Police have confirmed the identity of a woman swept away by Storm Dennis floodwaters on Sunday. The body was found during the search along the River Teme near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.

Victim Identified as Yvonne Booth

West Mercia Police named the victim as 55-year-old Yvonne Booth from Great Barr, Birmingham. She was caught in the raging waters during the fierce storm.

Family Pay Heartbreaking Tribute

“Yvonne is a very much loved member of our family and we are all devastated by this news,” her family said in a statement.

“We appreciate the continued support from the emergency services. We would like to ask for our privacy at this time.”
