Pro-Palestinian Protestors Storm BBC HQ in London
Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators descended on the BBC’s Broadcasting House in London today. The crowd gathered outside the iconic Portland Place building, waving Palestine flags and holding up bold placards before setting off on a planned march.
Heavy Police Presence and Strict Warnings
The Metropolitan Police and community support officers kept a close eye on the protest. Ahead of the march, they warned that anyone showing support for Hamas or straying from the approved route risked arrest. Police were quick to act, erecting a strong cordon around the BBC building after red paint was thrown against its entrance earlier on Saturday.

The demonstration comes against the backdrop of rising tensions in the Middle East. In northern Gaza, about 1 million Palestinians faced an urgent order to evacuate south as Israel prepares for a major land offensive against Hamas.
