New Cash Machine to Replace Ram-Raid Wrecked ATM in Bishop’s Waltham

A new cash machine is set to be installed at Lloyds Bank in Bishop’s Waltham by the end of July. The branch has been without an ATM since thieves ram-raided the site in February, ripping out the machine but failing to steal it, leaving behind major damage.

Fears Over Branch Closure Quashed

Rumours had swirled that the ATM might not be replaced, sparking concerns about the branch’s future. But Lloyds Bank has confirmed the branch is not on their closure list. A spokesperson said:

“All efforts are being made to have a replacement ATM in place as soon as possible. We currently anticipate this will be before the end of July at the latest. We apologise to our customers for this disruption in service while the ATM was being replaced.”

ATM Service Back on Track Soon

Customers can expect to see the new cash machine installed before July ends, restoring full service at the Bishop’s Waltham branch and putting the ram-raid chaos behind them.
