Southampton Boat Show Returns with a Splash this September
Britain’s biggest boating festival is back, and it’s set to make waves! British Marine, the show’s organiser, is thrilled to announce the 52nd Southampton International Boat Show will return this September – bigger, better, and safer than ever.
New Venue, Fresh Zones, and More Space
Thanks to a partnership with Southampton City Council, the show’s footprint has expanded. A new entrance will open by Westquay Shopping Centre, welcoming visitors into a sprawling layout packed with boating thrills.
Inside, the show has been split into tailored zones to suit every water lover’s passion:
- Watersports Zone: Paddleboards, kite surfers, kayaks, and windsurfers take centre stage.
- Dinghy Zone: Perfect for dinghy sailors and high-performance racing fans.
- Classic Boat & Day Boat Zone: A tribute to timeless craftsmanship and iconic vessels.
Europe’s Largest Marina: The Heart of the Action
The show boasts Europe’s largest purpose-built marina at Mayflower Park, featuring hundreds of sail and powerboats alongside top marine gear and services. A specially designed water park arena between pontoons will offer safe, non-stop on-the-water fun for all ages.
Live Music, Guest Speakers, and Safety First
Visitors can enjoy stages with live tunes and entertaining guests, showcasing the thrilling lifestyle of boating and watersports. And while the show aims to run at full speed, health and safety remain top priorities.
“After more than a year dominated by the pandemic, we are delighted to be working with Southampton City Council to bring the show back… the new layout and zones are really exciting.” – Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine
The organisers are working closely with government officials to ensure Covid measures keep everyone safe while they have a blast.
Top Brands on Board
Leading names have already signed up to exhibit, including Sunseeker International, Princess Motor Yachts, Prestige Yachts, Sealine, Fjord, Jeanneau, Beneteau, Hanse, Dehler, Moody sailing yachts, Privilège, and Bali catamarans. Whatever your boating dream, it’s all under one roof.
