Fatal Crash on Dorking Road: Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Collision

Tragedy struck on New Year’s Day as a serious crash on Dorking Road claimed the life of a motorcyclist in his sixties. The smash happened this afternoon on the bridge over the M25 involving a motorcycle, a red Citroen DS3, and a black Ford Ranger 4×4.

Emergency Teams Rush to Scene

Police were alerted at 2.40pm by one of the car drivers. Brave healthcare workers nearby jumped in to help, performing CPR on the motorcyclist. Staff from the Pfizer building also raced to the scene with a defibrillator.

Despite their desperate efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

Road Closures and Witness Appeals

Police closed key junctions around Headley Road and Headley Common Road while they investigate. Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes as these closures remain in place.
