Fire Crews Mobilise Fast

Units from Tutbury, Burton, Lichfield, and Rugeley, alongside specialist teams from Cannock and Rugeley, rushed to Glensyl Way to fight the fierce flames. They deployed a high volume pump, a water carrier, four main jets, two ground appliances, and a hose reel jet to battle the blaze.

Firefighters Praise and Safety Reassurances

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue also pitched in, offering tactical support throughout the operation. Thankfully, no one was injured.

“I would like to commend the crews who worked tirelessly through the night to bring this extensive fire under control,” said Station Manager Sarah Smith, who was on scene.

The cause was later ruled as accidental ignition. All fire crews have now stood down but will continue working with property owners to provide support after the incident.

“We can assure residents that the premises is now safe, and the air quality in the surrounding area poses no health risks,” added Smith.
