Desperate search on for two missing Welsh teens gone over a week
Where are Daniel and Isabelle?
Police and families are in a frantic hunt for Daniel Pall and Isabelle Wilkins, both 16, who vanished from their Cardigan homes in West Wales on Monday, April 7. Since then, they have been spotted twice – once 40 miles away in Aberystwyth and again in Llandudno.
The couple, believed to be in a relationship, were last seen boarding the T1 bus in Aberystwyth at 12.36pm on April 10, carrying camping gear. Later that day around 8.20pm, they popped up at Llandudno train station asking for directions to Dolgellau. This sighting widened the police search to North Wales and beyond.
No phones, no contact – Families plead for their safe return
Daniel’s father, Dave Pall, made a heartfelt plea:
“Dad’s here waiting for both of you, just get in touch. Your relationship will carry on and we will support it. Just get in touch so we have you here safe and sound, and then we will look at the future for both of you, which is a good future.”
He added the teens left their mobile phones behind, even ditching them on a bus to avoid being tracked.
Who are Daniel and Isabelle? Description & last sightings
- Isabelle Wilkins: 5’3”, blonde hair (may now be darker), last seen in a black parka with fur hood, grey jogging bottoms, and carrying a black backpack.
- Daniel Pall: Around 6’1”, short dark brown hair with shaved sides, last spotted in dark blue jeans, black t-shirt, and a black collared coat.
Both were seen carrying large bags, leading officers to think they might have changed clothes since.
Search expands as police follow leads
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the pair have known connections in Gloucestershire, Merseyside, and North Wales. Sightings have also been reported around the Forest of Dean.
A police spokesperson said:
“Their families are increasingly concerned for their safety and welfare and eagerly await their safe return home.”
The T1 bus route they took connects Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, suggesting they are travelling across remote rural areas by public transport.
