Deadly Israeli Airstrike Hits UN Aid Centre in Gaza
At least four people have died after an Israeli air attack struck near a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) aid centre in Gaza City. The strike hit the compound’s main gate, injuring several Palestinians and devastating a key hub for humanitarian aid distribution in the blockaded territory.
Displaced Palestinians Caught in the Crossfire
Hundreds of Palestinians, fleeing the chaos of Israel’s ground invasion, were sheltering inside the UNRWA facility when it was targeted. One Palestinian woman at the scene described the horror, seeing multiple casualties, including her injured children. “Why are innocent lives caught in the crossfire?” she cried.
Mounting Death Toll Across Gaza
This brutal strike is part of a wider wave of attacks hitting displaced Palestinians in locations like the Shati and Tufah camps. At least 42 have died in recent strikes in Gaza City alone.
The Gaza Ministry of Health revealed a grim toll: 101 Palestinians killed and 169 wounded in just 24 hours—the deadliest day since the Nuseirat refugee camp massacre earlier this month.
Global Outcry as Humanitarian Crisis Deepens
Despite growing international condemnation and urgent calls for a ceasefire, Israeli forces persist in targeting aid centres and UN facilities. Their actions are worsening an already dire humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
