Spicy Delivery for Titchfield School as Car Ploughs into Playground

Emergency services were called to Abshot Road shortly after 5.30 this evening after a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra crashed through two sets of safety railings outside St John’s School in Titchfield. Just hours earlier, parents would have been collecting their children from the packed playground. The injuries to the driver are unknown but are not thought to be serious. An ambulance has taken one person away from the scene to QA Hospital in Portsmouth. Buses in the area have also been diverted while the clear up operation continues. It is unclear if the school will be closed as a result of the damage.
