A32 Shut After Fatal Crash Near Fareham’s Hoeford Bus Garage
The A32 in Fareham is shut both ways after a deadly collision this morning near the Hoeford Bus Garage on Gosport Road.
Motorcyclist Dies at Scene
Hampshire Roads Policing officers rushed to the scene following the crash involving a motorcyclist. Despite efforts from two South Coast Ambulance crews and a team from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, the rider sadly died at the scene.
Major Delays and Road Closure
Traffic is backed up in both directions as emergency services work on-site. Authorities say the A32 will remain closed until at least lunchtime while they investigate the crash fully.
Police Urge Drivers to Avoid Area
“The road is currently closed and will be for some time as we investigate the exact circumstances of this incident,” Hampshire police said.
Motorists are urged to steer clear of the area to help ease congestion and let emergency teams carry out their work.
