Victorious Festival Unveils Star-Studded Second Wave Line-Up for August Bank Holiday

Scottish Indie Legends Travis Join the Party

Victorious Festival has just dropped its second wave of acts for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Leading the charge is indie pioneers Travis, the Scottish band famed for their melodic sound. Twice crowned ‘Best Band’ at the BRIT Awards and Glastonbury headliners after their hit album The Man Who, Travis is a sensational addition to the festival’s bill.

Editor’s Dark Indie Vibes and Special Guests

Joining Travis on Saturday are the critically acclaimed Editors, bringing their brooding brand of indie rock to the seaside event. They’ll share the stage with previously announced heavyweights Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Manic Street Preachers, and superstar producer Mark Ronson.

The legendary Irish new wave band The Boomtown Rats, led by their iconic frontman Bob Geldof, take to the stage as very special guests on Saturday afternoon, promising an unforgettable set.

Rock, Rising Stars and Family Fun

Australia’s rockers Wolfmother will also hit Victorious, fresh off recording their new album Victorious. Alongside established legends, fresh talent is ready to shine. Essex teenager Rat Boy delivers raw, lyrical hip hop inspired by youth discontent, while soulful singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu — who’s supported huge names like Sam Smith and Rudimental — adds star power.

Dreadlocked soul singer JP Cooper rounds out the roster, set to wow festival-goers with his remarkable voice.

Top-Notch Festival at a Bargain Price

Last year, Victorious drew 100,000 visitors to Southsea Seafront, earning nods for ‘Best Family Festival’ and ‘Best Major Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards. This year, it’s back with an incredible line-up, a massive free kids arena, and a family-friendly vibe.
