12-year-old Girl Attacked and Racially Abused at Portsmouth Playground
Police are hunting witnesses after a shocking assault on a 12-year-old girl at Landport Adventure Playground in Portsmouth.
Brutal Attack on Young Girl
The sickening attack took place on Friday, September 23, around 4.52pm, in Arundel Street’s playground. Up to four youths, both boys and girls, launched a violent assault, punching and hitting the girl while shouting racial abuse.
Victim Left Traumatised, Not Seriously Injured
The girl received medical treatment after the attack. Although her injuries were not serious, she was left deeply shocked and traumatised by the incident.
Suspects Arrested and Bailed
Police arrested two 16-year-old boys, a 16-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy on Sunday, September 25, on suspicion of racially aggravated assault. All four have been released on bail until October 3 as inquiries continue.
