Man Stabbed Multiple Times in Fratton in Brutal Early Morning Attack

A man was viciously attacked and stabbed in the neck several times just after 3.30am this morning in Fratton. The 38-year-old victim, who was also stabbed last year, was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital and is now fighting for his life.

Gruesome Crime Scene Shuts Down Fratton Streets

Shock rippled through the local community as residents woke to find Lake Road cordoned off with blue police tape and a fleet of officers swarming the scene. Scenes of Crime officers, clad in white paper suits, carried out a detailed fingertip search, marking the road with numbered evidence triangles.

Major roads remain closed causing heavy traffic delays. St Mary’s Road (from Woodlands Street), Kingston Road, and Lake Road are all blocked to both vehicles and pedestrians. Only Fratton Road has now reopened.

Police Arrest Two Men After Serious Assault

In a swift move, police arrested two men in connection with the assault. A police spokesperson confirmed the victim sustained a serious neck injury and is in critical condition.

Authorities have apologised for the disruption and thanked locals for their patience during the ongoing investigation.
