Teen Thugs Attempt Phone Robbery on 14-Year-Old in Farnborough

Police are hunting for two teenage muggers who tried to snatch a 14-year-old boy’s phone in broad daylight. The attack happened on Prospect Road near Vesey Close between 1.15pm and 1.20pm on Wednesday, December 21.

Teens Push Boy to Ground in Shocking Assault

The victim was approached by two unknown teenagers. One shoved him to the ground and grabbed at his phone. Luckily, the boy only suffered minor injuries.

Hero Passer-By Scares Off Attackers

A passing man, described as smartly dressed and driving a grey estate car, chased the pair away before the situation escalated. The suspects fled the scene.

Police Seek Hero Witness and Witnesses With Info

  • Attackers: Black males, about 17 years old
  • One: Heavy build, 5ft 10ins
  • The other: Slim, 5ft 8ins

PC Chris Brown said: “While the victim only suffered superficial injuries, this is a concerning incident. We want to speak to anyone with information.”

“Especially the man who intervened — he could hold vital clues for our investigation.”
