Person Sadly Passes in Gosport Park
A Person has sadly died in a Gosport park this afternoon. Despite the best efforts of Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service and a Doctor from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air ambulance the person died from massive injuries at the Park. Emergency services where called just before 6pm. Leelands Park remains sealed off and with Police standing guard at the entrance. It is not clear how the person died or the extent of their injuries. The person was sadly declared dead at the scene. A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We sent an air ambulance, one ambulance crew and two rapid response vehicles to the scene to assist and treat one patient in a life-threatening condition. ‘The person passed away at the scene.’
