Charity Box Theft Shocks Bognor Mosque
Police are on the hunt for a thief who stole a charity box from a mosque in Bognor Regis.
Suspect Caught on Camera
The man was spotted entering the lobby of the W S Muslim Society on Spencer Street. He grabbed a metal charity box that was locked but not properly secured.
He then headed to the mosque’s washing area, where he emptied an unknown amount of cash from the box before leaving it behind.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
The theft happened around 7.30pm on 26 July. Police want anyone who recognises the man or has information to report it online, quoting serial 904 of 28/07.
