Missing Dad and Two Toddlers Spark Hove Alert
Police and family are desperately searching for Robert Roche, 36, and his two small children who vanished without a trace on Monday morning (14 August) in Hove.
Last Seen Leaving Home for Nursery
Robert, from Palmeira Square, set off at 9am with his son Joey (3) and daughter Betsy (18 months) to take them to a day nursery on Holland Road. They never arrived.
Concern grew when they hadn’t returned by 5.30pm, prompting police to launch a welfare check.
Distinctive Pram Could Hold Clues
Robert is described as white, 5’10”, stocky, with dark hair. Betsy was in a very distinctive black Bugaboo Donkey stroller with a pink hood, complete with a step and ‘saddle’ by the handlebar — something police hope locals will spot.
Police Plea: Help Find Robert and Kids
Detective Inspector Mick Jones said: “We are searching the local area and urge anyone who’s seen Robert and his children to come forward. If you spot them, call 101 or 999 immediately, quoting incident 1053 of 14/08.”
“Robert, please get in touch so we can confirm you and the children are safe. Although there’s no suspicion of foul play, this disappearance is totally out of character and we are very worried about these young children.”
If you have any information on Robert, Joey, and Betsy, don’t hesitate to contact the police now. Every second counts.
