Two Burglars Nabbed After Blitzing House and Joyriding in Jaguar
Two crooks broke into a home, nicked a Jaguar, and went on a crime spree – but their joyride ended in court.
Speedy Break-In and Getaway
Jodie Finn, 34, from Woodthorpe Road, and Antek Pryce, 40, from Eastchurch, Kent, struck on 22 February 2016. They were inside the Oxted house for less than two minutes before driving off in the homeowner’s prized Jaguar.
Crime Spree Across Sussex
The duo used the stolen Jag to fuel more trouble across Sussex, including stealing petrol and committing other thefts.
Sentenced for Burglary and Theft
- Antek Pryce got two years for burglary plus 15 months for stealing the car.
- Jodie Finn was handed one year for burglary and four months for vehicle theft.
Detective Calls Out Crooks’ Arrogance
Detective Constable Steven Cassidy, who led the investigation, revealed a funny twist: “When we found the car, there was a car wash receipt inside. I asked Finn about it and she said she ‘couldn’t be seen to drive a dirty Jag’!”
