Teen Duo Charged in Early Morning Portsmouth Stabbing

Two Portsmouth teens face serious charges after a stabbing plunged a Somerstown street into chaos just after 4am on Saturday.

Two Teenagers Charged

Shawn Owen Griffiths, 19, from Greetham Street, Landport, is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. He is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on 23rd November.

A 16-year-old boy, whose identity is protected due to his age, faces the same charge and will appear in court that same morning.

Victim Rushed to Hospital

The 22-year-old victim was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital after the attack near the junction of Sedgeley Close and Rivers Street, close to Edgbaston House.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
