Drunk Driver Crashes into Police Road Closure in Ryde
A suspected drink driver in his fifties was arrested today in Ryde after ramming through a police road closure. The man, reportedly drunk, narrowly missed collision scene investigators already at the site of an earlier crash on Ryde St Johns Hill near Player Street.

The initial single-vehicle crash triggered a full emergency response. The driver’s people carrier smashed into a nearby property’s wall, causing significant damage. The driver suffered life-changing injuries in the collision.
