Police Nab Hither Green Burglary Suspect in North Kent
Detectives have arrested 28-year-old Billy Jeeves in connection with an aggravated burglary in Hither Green, Lewisham. The suspect was tracked down and detained by officers from both the Met Police and Kent Police on Friday, 20 April.
Multiple Charges Hit Jeeves
Jeeves faces a raft of charges, including:
- One count of aggravated burglary
- One count of burglary
- Two counts of theft
- Possession of a controlled substance
He was taken into custody at a Kent police station and questioned on all allegations.
Bailed and Back in Court
Jeeves has been bailed until mid-May pending further inquiries into the aggravated burglary. He is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court today, Monday 23 April, for failing to show up at a previous hearing linked to an unrelated Met Police matter.
Kent Police are handling the burglary, theft offences, and drug possession charges.
