Emergency services called to Middle Road following collision
Emergency services have been called to a collision on the Middle Road this afternoon. (Saturday May 5th). Police and Paramedics have been called to the collision. The road has been closed in both directions following a collision between three vehicles It is understood that two motorcyclists have been hurt. Isle of Wight Ambulance service have sent an incident officer and two ambulance to the incident near Freshwater. Officers from Hampshire Roads Policing have launched an Investigation. The motorcyclist is understood to have serious injuries and is being worked on by Paramedics. Police have advised that the road is likely to remain closed for sometime 
The closure is Middle Road, West Wight. The Road is closed between Chessell Pottery and Wilmingham Lane. Please respect road closures and cordons at all times. Two motorcyclists have been taken St Mary’s Hospitial for treatment.
