One Dead, Another Seriously Injured After Horror Crash on Isle of Wight
Tragedy struck the Isle of Wight last night. One person has died, and a second remains in a serious, life-changing condition following a two-vehicle collision on Whippingham Road in East Cowes.
Emergency Services Battle to Save Victims
Rescue teams rushed to the scene just after 8pm. One car had crashed off the road. Emergency workers desperately tried to save one victim at the roadside while freeing another trapped inside a vehicle.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene,” a spokesperson confirmed. “The second was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries.”
