A man has died following a serious collision between a scooter and a car on the Isle of Wight. Police are urgently seeking witnesses to the fatal crash.
Fatal Collision in Apse Heath
Officers rushed to Newport Road, Apse Heath, just before 9.40pm on August 25 after reports of the crash. The male scooter rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Woman Arrested Over Reckless Driving
A 36-year-old woman from Ventnor has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by reckless driving. She remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
