Rider airlifted following Maidstone Collision
Officers appeal for witnesses to serious Maidstone collision Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Maidstone. Officers were called to Loose Road, Maidstone at 5.50pm on Monday 14 May 2018 following a report of a collision involving a silver Peugeot Partner van, and a red and white Yamaha YZF R1 motorcycle. The motorcyclist was overtaking a line of static traffic when it was involved in a collision with the van. The driver of the bike was seriously injured and was flown to a London hospital with life threatening injuries.
