Urgent Appeal After Man in His 80s Seriously Injured in Wandsworth Crash
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a dramatic collision between a car and a pedestrian in Wandsworth.
Life-Threatening Injuries in East Hill Smash
The smash happened just before 10pm on Tuesday, 15 May at the junction of East Hill and Tonsley Hill, SW18. Police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene where they found a man in his 80s badly hurt. He was rushed to a south London hospital suffering what are described as life-threatening injuries.
Driver Stays at Scene, Police Probe Ongoing
The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and is helping officers with their investigation. Detective Constable James Ramsey from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command said:
“Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of what happened in the lead up to this incident. I urge anyone who witnessed this collision or who may have dash cam footage of the incident to get in touch.”
