Lifeboat Launched to Stranded Kayaker in Portsmouth
A Lifeboat has been tasked to rescue a kayak who has become stuck on the mud banks near the Eastern Road Bridge in Portsmouth this evening. The Portsmouth RNLI lifeboat was launched just after 9pm after a passing motorist raised the alarmed after spotting the stranded Kayak who called the coastguard for help. The Portsmouth Coastguard search and rescue team have also been sent to the incident. UPDATE: The Kayaker found after he’d stopped to warm up on the shore.
