A devastating fire has torn through two hotels on Culver Parade, Sandown, Isle of Wight. Authorities have shut down Culver Parade and part of Avenue Road as emergency crews race to control the inferno.

Eight fire engines from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are battling the fierce blaze, which continues to spread rapidly. Forty-two guests have been safely evacuated from the Tarvic 2 and St Mauritz hotels.

Owner Vows to Rebuild After Devastation

Freddick Barsoun, the owner of Tarvic 2 for over 17 years, expressed determination to rebuild. He said, “I first found out when my staff called me after the fire alarm went off. There was thick smoke outside before the fire spread.”
