A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured after being knocked off his bike in a hit-and-run on Berry Lane last Friday evening. The cyclist was heading towards Bath Road between 5.55pm and 6.15pm when a vehicle struck him and fled the scene.

The teen was rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital with a serious head injury but is now in stable condition.

Police Hunt Driver Who Left Teen Injured

PC Ben Eastment from Taplow’s Roads Policing Unit is leading the investigation. He said, “One line of enquiry is that a vehicle collided with the cyclist and failed to stop at the scene of this collision.”

Officers are appealing for witnesses. “We would like anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from Berry Lane around that time on Friday to get in touch,” PC Eastment added.
