£27,000 Bronze Statues Stolen in Canterbury Garden Heist
Thieves have struck a Canterbury garden, making off with bronze statues worth a whopping £27,000. The brazen overnight raid happened between 11 and 12 February 2019 in St Lawrence Forstal.
Three Life-Size Figures and Bronze Buddha Taken
Burglars stole three unique life-size statues, each around 2ft 5ins tall, specially commissioned by the owner. Alongside these, a 1ft tall bronze Buddha statue was also lifted. The statues are said to be one-of-a-kind and highly valuable.
Police Hunt for Leads
Officers are probing the theft and urge anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses can call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/38004/19. Alternatively, tips can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
