Man charged with multiple stabbing offences

A man has been charged following five stabbings in the Edmonton area between Saturday, 30 March and Tuesday, 2 April. Jason Kakaire, 29 from Cameron Close, N18 was charged on Friday, 5 April with five counts of attempted murder. He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 5 April. Officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation. The investigation was led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command with officers from the North Area Command Unit.
