Man Charged Over Shocking Five Stabbings in Edmonton
Jason Kakaire, 29, from Cameron Close, N18, has been charged with five counts of attempted murder following a stabbing spree in Edmonton.
The attacks took place between Saturday, 30 March and Tuesday, 2 April, sparking fear across the community.
Police Make Swift Arrest
Kakaire was charged on Friday, 5 April and is set to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court the same day.
Authorities have confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the brutal incidents.
Major Crime Unit Takes Lead
The investigation was led by the Homicide and Major Crime Command, alongside officers from the North Area Command Unit.
Police continue to appeal for any witnesses to come forward and help piece together what sparked the violent rampage.
